Concert Guitar
September 2008
"The great majority of my guitars are of this type. I use a spruce soundboard, although cedar is successful as well. The back and ribs are of Indian Rosewood, the neck of South American Cedar and the fingerboard Ebony. I fit Rodgers machines and usually finish with French Polish and Finishing Oil.
The scale length is 650mm as standard but this can be changed from 640 to 660mm to suit. This guitar produces a characterful classical sound, with a broad dynamic range and good balance, which is powerful enough to fill a concert hall."
